[Isl-askaway] Slamming the Boards on November 10

November 10 is the monthly "Slam the Boards" day.

By the way, has anyone had Facebook Questions activated on their profile yet (I don't)?  If it has been, have you tried it?  Care to comment?

Also, where do you "Slam" besides the obvious Q&A sites?  I think that answering questions as part of monitoring Twitter feeds would be a good example.  One of our librarians noticed a lot of chatter about Lee DeWyze making a local homecoming appearance, so he posted a link to a listing of local restaurants for people who might be attending.  That's a good case of finding a question where one wasn't even asked.

Also, don't forget to tweet your answers (#slamtheboards).
