Just a quick reminder to Slam the Boards this Wednesday, August 10.  Details at http://bit.ly/slamtheboards.  Make sure to tweet your answers with the hashtag #slamtheboards.

As ever, looking for questions that are of the type we can work with is often the toughest part of "slamming" (or would that be just finding the time to do it?).   If browsing is getting frustrating, try using keyword searches that might bring up results you can work with.  For example, if you do a Yahoo Answers search for "articles" and then limit your results to Open Questions (http://yhoo.it/rq1LxG), you'll often find a question or two that you can either give a direct answer to or give some good advice on.  Try "book" or "books," too.   If Readers' Advisory is your specialty, chime in on that, too-don't just look for "factual answers."
